My dad used to say this all the time. Simple, powerful, unforgettable.
Coming off the 4th of July—celebrating our freedom, our families, and our great country—it’s a powerful reminder that the people we choose to surround ourselves with shape our lives in ways we can’t always see in the moment.
This summer, as we take time to refresh and regroup, ask yourself: are your weekend relationships fueling your freedom…or limiting your future?
In other words – are you spending time with wingmen or wingnuts?! 😜
Who we spend time with outside of work is just as important as who we team up with inside of it.
Our friends and relationships aren’t there just to help us celebrate the holidays.
They exist to challenge us to grow.
They call our BS and hold us accountable.
They’re brutally honest with us.
They elevate our standards, lift our spirits, & help us fly when we feel grounded.
They push out of our comfort zone, and pull us up from the dungeon of doubt.
So, choose who you spend with wisely. Your future’s built one weekend at a time.
