I may have been strapped into the cockpit of an F-16 by myself, but I was never flying solo. I always had wingmen in the air to check my six and help accomplish the mission successfully.
But I also had the crew on the ground whose hard work and support made my missions possible. They were unsung heroes and without them, I never would have been able to take off.
Who are the wingman in your flight crew? Have you taken the time to walk your flight line and thank them for the job they do so that you can fly your missions successfully?
